Old School RuneScape once again applies adjustments to Deadman and Guthrix

This may have happened twice before, but that’s not stopping Jagex from continuing to dial things in for Old School RuneScape players engaging with Deadman Apocalypse and While Guthrix Sleeps. That’s right, both pieces of content have seen tweaks for the third week in a row. Thrilling stuff.

Updates to Deadman include price changes for specific items, mechanical tweaks for a couple of specific fights, and fixes for bugs that affected Deadman protection, a quest choice for the Path of Mahjarrat, and cape storage. This looks to be the final series of tweaks before the PvP affair moves into its grand finale this Saturday. Maybe.

The Guthrix adjustments are even more focused, primarily adjusting the visuals of tormented demon fire shields. The shield now has a more toned-down color, is more transparent, turns more slowly, and has had specific floor visuals removed, all with the aim of reducing motion sickness and eye strain.

The rest of the week’s update is about additional quality-of-life, like five more rank slots for the clan hall, the ability for Ultimate Ironman players to opt-out of death protection for items with ornament kits, ammo interaction updates for the Dizana’s Quiver item, and adjustments to the Shades of Mort’ton quest, among several other updates. Things are applied with their usual levels of specificity, so fans will likely want to read the full notes for more.
