The monthly development reports from Bossa Studios’ PvE survivalbox Lost Skies roll on, and while the end-of-August edition doesn’t provide any kind of release timing, it does once again note lots of forward momentum all the same.

As with previous posts, this month offers a wide assortment of gameplay element updates, including several new UI element additions; a concept art first look at the Ark structure that will be central to exploration and survival; multiple ship-based additions like even more shipbuilding improvements, a ship diagnostics feature, and new machine gun weapons; several model previews including the intimidating Herald foe; and crystal mining on the back of a skywhale.

Sprinkled throughout the post are several animated gifs and videos to let followers see where things are going, but we’ve got some of the more intriguing ones embedded below. So while release timing still seems far away, there has certainly been a lot of work completed.
