The beginning of last month saw Allods Online leap back on to our radar after the MMORPG saw a little spike of activity on Steam – a metric that has been maintained with what might be characterized as machine-like efficiency – ahead of its Update 15. That content patch has since gone live with a new region and multiple updates in tow.
The centerpiece of Update 15 is the Jigran zone, where players will take on a new story quest that focuses around the capital city of Sarnaut and the mystery of its famed champion. The patch also applies a variety of class updates, with a focus on the Psionicist, Engineer, Bard, and Scout that adds new skills, new rubies, and more.
Finally, gear upgrading has been refined to make it easier for players to get their hands on high-end gear, while a follow-up patch also added ways for most artisans to craft rare equipment, updated rewards at the Melting Isle and the Astral Layer, and introduced the Nihaz Citadel and Observatory zone and heroic adventures for the Azure Layer area.
