Throne and Liberty details its early access and full launch server strategy

With Throne and Liberty effectively having two launches – pre-purchase early access on September 26th and full F2P release on October 1st – players may be wondering just how servers for both may work out, especially if they’re trying to coordinate meeting up with one another. Luckily, Amazon Games has provided all of those details.

As one might expect, there will be two types of servers for early access and full release players respectively, though players who wait until October will be able to make a character on an early access server, provided population cap restrictions aren’t in place. There will be a temporary restriction for early access characters to leap to launch servers, but players will be able to claim up to two free server transfers between September 26th and October 17th to make any wanted moves when Amazon deems the time to be right.

The studio also confirmed the names and number of servers for each of the five regions it will service, as well as confirmed that auction houses will be clustered for each region but will have separate such clusters for EA and launch servers; that restriction will be lifted at some point in the future.
