While mention of a garment factory typically doesn’t generate a lot of enthusiasm, Grand Theft Auto Online bets that it can do just that with its preview of December’s content drop. The online crime sim has great plans to turn the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory into “a hive for clandestine infiltration operations” for players to enjoy.
And that’s not even all that’s coming: “December’s update also features additional dispatch work missions, new rides, job creator updates, and new upgrades for your Benefactor Terrorbyte, including a collectible scanner to help pinpoint a wide range of treasures whenever they are in close proximity — including action figures, movie props, G’s cache drops, and many more.”
Rockstar Games said that it recently installed an anti-cheat system into GTAO to “enhance security.” The studio also teased plans for other upcoming projects, such as improvements to the GTA+ member-only Vinewood Club and “plans to bring the much-requested PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S features of GTA Online to the PC platform in the new year.”
That’s going to be needed as PC players embark on what promises to be a very long wait for Grand Theft Auto VI.
