Back in July we remarked how it might surprise people that the 2-D mobile and PC gacha “MORPG” ASTRA: Knights of Veda had made it to 100 days. We now can report that the game has now achieved something of a second milestone: the launch of its second season, which adds a whole slew of new things for players to do and a new character to try to roll for.
The main attraction is the introduction of Rhynara, a five-star ranged support character who can wield the dual elements of water and light at the same time. Most of her attacks are ice-based apparently, with the ability to slow and freeze foes in order to grant allies more opportunities to attack.
The other primary feature for the update is the opening of the Noah continent, which also brings the raising of several character progression levels including a new cap for adventure levels, character and weapon levels, and book master levels, along with new mythical six-star relic accessories and new relic sets.
To celebrate the start of Season 2, Astra is hosting a whole swath of events such as login rewards, advancement material handouts for weapons, doubled resources in adventure stages, and an improved chance to see Rhynara drop. there’s also a special limited-time guild fight and coupon codes for character selection tickets.
Taking a look at the game’s overall Steam data since the last check-in, we find that Steam reviews have moved from mostly negative to mixed and a player concurrency of around 1,500.
