Black Desert Mobile merges all of its servers down to one shard per region

It may be fall, but Black Desert Mobile is doing some serious spring cleaning with its servers this week. The mobile version of the popular MMO has merged its six servers down to three as of yesterday.

That means that now there are only three servers remaining: one for America, one for Europe, and one for Asia. These merges include the “Oasis” shards, effectively ending those special rulesets and their runs.

The studio said that most all data should be the same at the end of the merging period save for a few caveats involving the market system, node and siege wars, and a few other events. The studio is also keeping its Oasis event shop open for a while longer so that players from those servers can spend their currency.

Need more answers about the merge? There’s an FAQ for that.
