This past June saw the early access PvE medieval survival sandbox Bellwright release its official modkit to players, so obviously that means the game has been awash in all kind of mods as those two months have moved on by. Don’t believe us? Then you’ll want to aim your peepers at a highlight video from the devs all about the tool and things players have created.
The video opens up by showing off what the game’s modkit is capable of, followed by some instructions on how to install mods and highlights of several mods made by fans already, including new potions, new quests, a pre-built castle that players can plop down with all of the functionality players could want, and a variety of new building pieces that let players put together their own castles or forts.
The video does point out at the start that this new highly moddable future doesn’t mean official content for Bellwright is ending, and indeed it closes with a peek at what’s coming to the MMO soon, including a new crossbow weapon and the ability to build walls around settlements to help with their defense.
