We’ll put this as plainly as possible: If you’re not into Lord of the Rings Online’s niche PvP (or “monster play”) scene, there may not be a lot for you in today’s Update 49: In Good Company. But if you are a PvP junkie? Today is your Christmas in July.
Update 49 comes with the Angmarim Sorceress, an evil class restricted to the Ettenmoors contested zone. Standing Stone Games also improved the PvP infamy and glory system, opened back up the Delving of Frór public dungeon, and added more options for siege warfare. Both free players and monster players will see their damage nerfed by 5% to create “a level playing field for fighting neutral enemies.”For everyone in and out of the PvP zone, LOTRO advanced the item level cap of legendary items to 565, improved rewards for high-level delving, and added more barter rewards to Filbert Fig, Myrtle Mint, and Rowan Raspberry.
