It’s time for a Very Serious Message from BioWare’s Casey Hudson.
OK, it’s not that serious; it’s more like a pep rally for Anthem. Cataclysm is live and still being developed, BioWare knows everyone’s not happy, it’s not giving up on the title, and all will be better in the future if you stick it out. You know the drill.
“I know there’s a lot more work to do to bring out the full potential of the game,” Hudson said. “We have plans for those more fundamental improvements, but they’ll take time. While the team works towards the longer-term vision of the game, they will also continue to deliver updates to features and content.”
The dev letter comes after the abrupt departure of Lead Producer Ben Irving just a few weeks ago. Hudson also talked up SWTOR’s Onslaught expansion (though he doesn’t mention the delay) and teased the upcoming new entry in the Dragon Age franchise.
