Well, you’re about to have that chance thanks to MMORPG Tycoon 2. This early access game is most definitely single-player — it’s just that its subject matter is a massively multiplayer world. You as the player will design and operate this virtual world that would contain nothing but bots going happily about their adventures and exploring the landscape you made.
According to the features, MMORPG Tycoon 2 lets you shape the world, design classes, whip up monsters, and even wield the banhammer “because sometimes you have to remind those pesky users about whose game this is.” The title just debuted on Steam and offers cross-platform saves between Windows, Mac, and Linux.
