It would appear that the heroes of Neverwinter have managed to tick off a demon lieutenant. An update post has outlined the upcoming Rage of Bel episode, which will offer up a fight against the titular hellspawn.
The crux of this episode’s content involves entering a dark glyphworks portal and stopping devil insurgencies. These insurgencies involve taking out devils and sealing portals, though sometimes a powerful warlord will join the fight. All of this fills up a Rage of Bel meter that tracks server-wide progress, which opens up the fight against Bel himself once it fills completely. The battle against Bel can be taken on with any group, though larger groups mean more challenge and more rewards.
Speaking of rewards, the update offers a look at a variety of hellish goodies awaiting players, including mounts, a companion, several vanity pets, and the Awakened Forger’s Box device, which provides a meaty boost to things like critical strike, accuracy, and combat advantage among other stats.
Rage of Bel is set to arrive to PC players on Thursday, May 14th, with a console launch sometime afterwards, but if you want to catch some Neverwinter before that, feast your eyes on tonight’s Stream Team episode, live at 8 p.m. EDT.
