Camelot Unchained works on giants, pretty trees, wyverns, and replacing Ben Pielstick

It’s another week of Camelot Unchained updates with another Top Ten-ish and look at artwork — followers know the drill by now. In this update, the devs discuss working on a new giant race that’s slowly starting to come together, adding the viking keep plot crafted by the Builder’s Brigade to the battleground zone, and introducing faction-themed wyverns. Meanwhile, the art section has a look at several new armors, in-game barricade renders, and some pretty new trees that City State hopes will improve the game’s overall sky line.

Before all of that, however, the post takes a moment to well-wish Ben Pielstick, who announced in the game’s latest newsletter that he will “relocate to somewhere outside of the country where COVID-19 is much less of a concern.” Taking his place is Chris Junior, who readers will recall was one of four new arrivals to CSE as part of some staff changes in July.

Finally, there’s another stream from Mark Jacobs where at one point he has to explain why his visit to the office to get a couple of things didn’t end up with him processing refunds. It’s a bit of an unhappy watch, if we’re honest, as Jacobs is once more assailed by some familiar trolls and remarks, but it also should be added to the record.
