Ice is civilization, except when it’s busy destroying said civilization: I’m afraid the Star Wars: The Old Republic update scheduled for today as been delayed as the usually temperate city where the studio is located – Austin, Texas – has been slammed by a nasty winter storm that’s led to power outages, communication lines down, and impassable roads.
“Due to the on-going severe weather situation in Austin, TX (where our studio is located), we are going to be delaying today’s scheduled maintenance,” BioWare told fans. “It is still our goal to get out Game Update 6.2.1 as soon as possible.” Customer support is probably going to be rough today as well.
6.2.1 is expected to reorganize the amplifiers interface, add a new tier of rarity for them, introduce rarity locking, rebalance Uprising difficulty, and unlock all Uprisings at level 75.
