Star Trek Online celebrates its sixth anniversary with a time-travel episode and giveaways

Star Trek Online seems to be one of those MMOs that always does its anniversaries justice. As the game hits its sixth birthday this month, it’s kicking off an extended event that includes lots of giveaways and a new episode.

The anniversary event, which begins January 28th and runs through February 24th, will send players to the future for a time-travel episode involving the Temporal Accords. When players are done with that, they can participate in the Omega Particle event, through which they can earn a free tier 6 Krenim Science Vessel.

Cryptic will also be hosting daily giveaways from January 26th through February 1st, so log in at least once during those days to snag a free item or unlock from the store.
