As written and foretold – literally, in the announcement earlier this week – New World’s Legacy of Crassus event, which pits players against the lord of cyclopes so they can put a mini cyclops in their house, is live. OK, fine, there’s more to the event than that, but that’s the best part.
But that’s not all today’s early-morning patch dropped for players of the Amazon MMORPG. Players will also want to thumb through the patch notes, which include a round of combat tweaks. In particular, PvE bow damage and PvE musket damage got a notable buff, as did void gauntlet’s void blade attack damage. Amazon also says it’s rolled back orichalcum spawn changes that were breaking rubble piles, allowed raid-built camps to be usable by non-raid players, and wound down the Winter Convergence Festival.
