New World’s latest Q&A tackles cheaters, rewards, and the content coming before May

Amazon is back with another New World Q&A video this week touching on everything from planned content to blatant aimhackers.

Scot Lane begins by clarifying what he said in the studio’s last video addressing the roadmap: Amazon is not postponing all content until May. It’s just doing a big content drop in May. The content between now and then includes the new trial, the group finder, new artifacts, the MSQ update, two solo trials, and the Year of the Dragon content, plus the regular events and passes. “I don’t think it’s fair to say there’s no content,” Lane says.

Amazon’s Scott Geiser also addresses how the team handles the “cat-and-mouse game” of dealing with cheaters. In a nutshell: They’re doing it all the time, and they don’t always announce it.

The team also talks about faction imbalance, updated rewards, MSQ bugs, the boltcaster PvP bug, respec costs, and mutators per cycle.
