Who wants some giant robot multiplayer shooting action? Mecha Break was announced today as part of the Summer Games Fest, and it is promising to deliver just that. Coming from developer Amazing Seasun Games, the title sports 3v3 arenas, 6v6 battlefields, and 60-player PvEvP modes with your customized pilot taking on challenges inside of a fully customizable giant mech when the PC beta test starts up at some point this August.
The mechanical designs for the game are handled by Takayuki Yanase and Ishigaki, who have worked on everything from Gundam to Armored Core to Xenogears. The full game will be available on both Steam and consoles at some point after the beta concludes. For now, check out screenshots of the mecha and environments, as well as the full reveal trailer for the machines just below. It’s not quite a full customizable mecha MMORPG, but hey, it looks pretty wild.
