It’s time for the Halloween season to once more cover the battlefields of PlanetSide 2, and regular players of the persistent war MMOFPS know what that means: The Nanite of the Living Dead event is back for another pumpkin-filled spooky season through the entire month of October.
Activities in this year’s event will all be familiar repeats of previous years, with a new directive to take on and space pumpkins to smash for extra XP, though this year’s rewards will primarily feature a Dia de los Muertos theme, including a calavera-styled face cosmetic and similarly themed camos, decals, and banner cosmetics, plus certs, implants, and an implant pack.
There will also be boosted XP earnings available between now and October 7th, and the update that brought on the event has also applied a long list of bug fixes, but really it’s about those sweet masks.
