An observer can get whiplash trying to follow the flurry of Hearthstone expansions every year — and lo and behold, here comes another one. The Great Dark Beyond set arrives next week on November 5th with 145 additional cards, “the new Starship keyword, new Draenei minion type, returning Spellburst keyword, and more!”
But before any new set arrives, a pre-patch must be delivered. This is the way. A way that involves pre-patch fun. Patch 31.0 kicks off the Great Dark Beyond Pre-Release Tavern Brawl, with all players getting one free entry to the event.
Additionally, Patch 31.0 is making some progression changes, such as weekly quests made easier to complete but reward less XP, fixing bugs, and kicking off a new arena season. Blizzard is also preparing a Warcraft anniversary reward track that opens on November 12th.
