It, uh... works?

Darkfall: Rise of Agon isn’t the only project out there aiming to resurrect the original version of Darkfall, which means that the developers need to live up to a lot of expectations. The first development blog is celebrating the team’s first major milestone: Successfully turning on the game’s servers on an old version of the source code. It works!

The development blog is also meant to help introduce the team behind the resurrection project to the fans eagerly awaiting more news, complete with screenshots of the early test build and a statement of design philosophy. Since it’s a small team, there’s a definite emphasis on low development times with high overall impact. Today, though, it’s enough to celebrate that the core is working.
