Yesterday saw NCsoft take the wraps off of renewed plans to bring Blade & Soul NEO to the west, opening up both pre-registration for the relaunch and selling bundles for those who really want to throw their support behind the MMO. Now NC’s other MMORPGs – namely Lineage II, Aion NA, and original flavor Blade & Soul – are sweetening that pre-registration drive with goodies for existing players.
Each individual MMORPG will gift coupons to fans who sign their interest in B&S NEO, with Aion players getting consumables for Live and Classic, L2 players getting summoning tickets and elixirs for its three versions, and B&S handing out its own consumables. Each game is also offering additional cosmetic rewards on top, but these coupons can be applied only once per account.
Meanwhile, Aion NA has been releasing a slew of updates and events, including a UI update for its mobile Purple launcher, a pair of events to mark the New Year, and a return of the Tiamaranta’s Eye battle event. There’s also a New Year’s event for Aion Classic EU going on as well.
