As RIFT hits its fourth anniversary this week, the team is eager to let you in on an exciting tidbit or two about what’s coming this year. The biggest reveal? Trion is hard at work creating a new calling (archetype) for the game to go along with its current roster of Mage, Cleric, Warrior, and Rogue.
And no, we don’t know what it is yet.
In an attempt to “over-deliver” to fans, the team has several more cards up its sleeve. These include April’s Echoes of Madness update, more raids, the return to Hammerknell, and the release of Planetouched Wilds.
Game Director Chris Junior thinks that 2015 will be a great year for the game: “This is all part of our larger strategy: making sure that you have a chance to experience the very best that RIFT has to offer while at the same time working on creating new challenges and encounters that everyone will grow to love, too.”
