The centerpiece of the upcoming patch is the addition of a ranked PvP mode for competitive pirates. Players can duke it out against each other for rewards, with matches being free for subscribers and charged for F2P freebooters. The patch will also add an option to speed up combat animations, new combat trainers, and a “Nautical Gauntlet” quest that pits players against waves of enemy ships.
