Heroes of the Storm is adding Genn Greymane to its lineup today

Puppy.

It feels like it’s been forever since Heroes of the Storm announced the addition of Gilnean ruler Genn Greymane to its roster, but he has not been forgotten! In fact, Greymane should be added to the game today. How do we know that?

Greymane’s gameplay centers around making dog references in chat, especially if you inform your teammates that the enemy team is rushing by saying “such rush, many other player, wow.” Or his gameplay might center around changing between his ranged-centered human form and his melee-happy Worgen form as the situation dictates. It’s a fine line; we’re confident that the dog fans in the audience can figure out the fine details.

No you’re wrong. And that could be one of the dumbest statement ever made. Someone who takes advantage of the free in free to play is actually one of the more important voices. People who one out of pocket at the drop of a hat will do that anywhere. Someone who is actually smart with their money is the person who they need to be concerned about. The idea is to get more people to spend more money in their games so they need to know what they are doing right to convince people like me to actually spend money. What is the price point they can push to maximize free player skin sales.

I’m not trying to debate.  I was simply telling you that you’re wrong.  People who don’t spend much on games don’t have valid opinions because they are not paying customers.

If you support F2P to get things for free then it’s only natural that your voice is worth less.

dorn2 GoJammit And you know what? If your whole method of debate is to try to erase someone’s else’s opinion with why it’s not valid in your own twisted opinion, then you really have no business trying to debate at all. First I’m cheap so I don’t matter. Then I don’t punch a clock for my game time so I’m not valid. Get over yourself. It’s my free time that I play video games with. If playing a game is that much of a chore to you, then you need to be playing something else, not running around researching why this or that game gives you more chump change to spend in their free game.

dorn2 GoJammit I do think about time. That’s why I maximize my time/profit. I get more for the time I play vs the time I play in other games. Plus I like it more than all the others. And I don’t find 5 dollars a rip off when it’s the only money I’ve put into it. Play the game for all this time get the characters I want. am I really hurting to give them some dough for a skin.

Nothing is free.  Nothing. They make you spend time.  The fact that you don’t think this way is why your opinion isn’t valid.

As for “sales” the competition does that better too.  Every skin and hero is on sale at a specific amount of time after release.  They also rotate in a specific manner through existing heroes.

Since their prices are much cheaper in the first place the sales are much cheaper as well.  Five bucks for a skin is basically a ripoff.

dorn2 GoJammit Skin flint? Listen up grandpa. The fact that I can find plenty of enjoyment out of this game without doing more than an occasional skin buy, is exactly the point. And before calling me a cheapskate, remember that you are the one claiming that you’re getting ripped off from a game that gives you so much for free. Oh boo hoo. Skins cost ten bucks? wait for a sale if it bugs you that much they happen all the time.
I’m not gonna pretend to know how fast other games get you characters, I know I make money fast enough to get the knew ones that come out that I want with minimal effort. i only play enough to complete the dailies and I’m still rolling in dough, so yes my opinion matters plenty, because i’m clearly doing something right where I don’t feel like I’m being ripped off.

Replying late here but the ability to slowly get things for free doesn’t change how much they charge.   Skins cost to much and the heroes cost too much.  They also let you earn far less money per hour that the competitors.
It’s a rip off.  The fact that you’re a skin-flint who tries to play games for free means your opinion is worthless on this subject.

Sorenthaz Digest At least with smite, you’re playing with the same skill level or levels. Unlike in HotS, where you’re going to be force to be group with people who just started playing because you’re having a winning streak then obliged you to get a 50/50 chance in the pub game.
That’s the scenario when playing solo pub game in HotS. No, i seldom party with people. Don’t have the luxury of time to wait for others just to play a game.

Plays pretty good. Biggest problem I had was that I kept trying to do the roll away move while in human form.

Sorry to tell ya, but it never was. Weekly rotation of heroes, significant amount of money if you get characters up to level five. More money for daily quests. I’ve never spent a dime and have more heroes than I need or want. Only thing anyone should be spending money on is skins. What are you doing wrong?
