One thing that’s quite apparent by now is that Trion Worlds adores its crossover promotions. It’s happening again, as Defiance’s hellbugs are breaching the gaming worlds to pour into Trove (after having done so several times before in RIFT). After all, these games couldn’t be more similar, could they?
In the new Hellbug Infestation event, players can earn in-game rewards for Trove and Defiance by partaking in various activities. Trove fans can secure two creepy hellbug mounts by fighting off invaders in the game and then logging into Defiance to do the same. Defiance players have a shot at getting a special Ground Pounder3 weapon by reaching battle rank 5 in Trove’s PvP mode. Basically, play both games to get goodies for both games.
Hellbug Infestation begins today and runs through February 23rd.
