Traverse lets you mold and shape your own planet

A tiny dev team is scurrying away on a new title called Traverse that will let players not only think big but create on a massive scale by allowing them to shape their own planets and populate them with their own unique races.

Traverse is a sandbox voxel MMO that sports a unique look, with pronounced polygons that look a little like elegant paper sculptures. Players each will begin by choosing one of six races and be given a procedurally generated world that they can mold and then customize with vegetation, mobs, and themed structures. The game even allows players to design simple quests for the community to solve, explore other player worlds, and if so desired, engage in PvP.

The game is built on the Unreal Engine and is aiming for a 2016 release with a public alpha by summer. You can check out a couple of videos of Traverse in action after the jump!
