Ninjas? Anime? MMO releases? All of this and more is coming to you this week, courtesy of Naruto Online’s launch on Wednesday, July 20th.

Based on the Japanese anime and manga series, Naruto Online puts players in the role of a new elemental ninja master who gets to experience the story from the franchise while recruiting iconic characters along the way. The MMO leans on a cel-shaded art style, promising “exquisite graphics and furious battles.”

Naruto Online will be a free-to-play browser game and is being developed by Bandai Namco and Oasis Games. You can get get geeked out for Wednesday’s launch by watching the release trailer below!
