Storming of the hero.

Do you feel an icy hand on your back as you play a match of Heroes of the Storm? If so, there are two possibilities: You have a remarkably specific lich following you around and touching you inappropriately, or you know that you’ve got only a little bit of time until the first ranked season ends and you’re struggling to advance until the end arrives. But there’s good news in that department; following community feedback, Blizzard has extended the end of the first ranked season until September 13th.

The change will also apply moving forward, with the future seasons following a three-month pattern rather than a ten-week one, giving players a bit more time to fight for the best possible rank. So be happy if you wanted a little more time to rank up; you’ll have it now. On the other hand, if it turns out that icy hand is a problem of having a lich following you, that’s a personal issue that you’re going to have to deal with.

Meanwhile, Blizzard released a slew of Machines of War videos today; you can check them out below.
