Enjoy! Or don’t, no one who works here really cares much either way. Also, let us know what you’ll be playing down in the comments, since this is What Are You Playing.
Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): This weekend’s bittersweet. My Japanese students I spent about a month helping practice for their speech contest will be at their contest, but I sadly don’t get to see them since I’m back in the states. I’m sure they’ll do well, but I wish I could see how much they’ve improved.
Then there’s my sister. It’s her first birthday in years where we’re in the same country and the same state, but she’s got a wedding to go to. At least I’ll get to see her the next day though.
So, while I’m silently cheering for my kids and wishing my baby sister the best, I’ll probably try to do some Pokémon Go. I may also try some VR, as the Oculus Rift lowered it’s min specs, revealed the price of it’s awesome controllers, and a certain someone was absent from OC3. Hype up, faith renewed, money spent. Now to pick up the device and return to EVE Valkyrie.
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): So I’m still fighting off a nasty cough, but I am hoping to dive into Guild Wars 2 this weekend. I was trying not to be spoiled, but that’s impossible since I am the one proofing Tina’s work. I just had to go into robot mode and try not to internalize the content I was reading! I also got my The Elder Scrolls Online game patched up. I’m not sure I’ll be in it this weekend, but it’s definitely on my short list once I finish the latest GW2 update to my satisfaction.
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Wow, Final Fantasy XIV and World of Warcraft are fighting for my attention. What a twist! Except not. I should also start preparing to fly down to Las Vegas next week for FFXIV‘s fanfest.
MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): I am looking forward to a nice, quiet weekend of Allosaur hunting and treehouse building in ARK: Survival Evolved. I am also still missing my little archa bird, so I might gather a search party and scour the redwoods again. Aside from that I will be practicing with Ying and Cassie in Paladins, running around Lord of the Rings Online on my Hobbit and my Hunter, exploring in Shroud of the Avatar, and hopefully squeezing a few rounds of HEX: Shards of Fate and Chronicle: RuneScape Legends in.
Basically, I think I finally have the chance to have a game-filled weekend again, and I am looking forward to it!
Your turn!
