Nice shot.

The Crowfall team is not taking Thanksgiving off but is instead running its biggest to date. Doesn’t that make you feel like a slacker for slowly digesting a few thousand calories while burping softly on a couch?

The alpha test is the first that is tackling Crowfall’s so-called “Large World” setting, created from seamless parcels. It’s intended to be somewhat more of a hardcore, anything-goes battle that will run harvesting, crafting, and combat through its paces.

“This test will, in many ways, reflect the kind of bloodbath that you should expect to see in a ‘Dregs’ campaign after launch,” the team noted. “As a word of warning: yes, we know this particular ruleset is hardcore, and will not appeal to all of our players. We’ll try out some different variants soon (like Three-Faction) — we promise!”

The test began yesterday and will conclude on Sunday, November 27th.
