Albert Einstein famously said that he did not know what weapons World War 3 would be fought with, but he knew World War 4 would be fought with sticks and stones. Fortunately for all of us, studio The Farm 51 knows exactly what weapons World War 3 will be fought with. It turns out it’s mostly the sort of weapons we have now, and it’ll be a big battle royale game! Maybe Einstein just didn’t want to blow our minds by talking about video games way too early.
WW3 promises to feature strong teamplay elements, the most authentic simulations of bullets and armor ever, and tactical considerations like recon and strategic maps. It’s also planning to use accurate weapons, armor, and uniforms from real-world militaries.
