Blizzard’s just announced this morning the headlining band for this year’s BlizzCon, and it’s a tiny bit of a puzzler, as it’s actually three music groups, constituting what Blizzard is calling its own “mini music festival.”
Train is one of those long-running bands you’ve definitely heard even if you can’t remember what they did. We’ll jog your memory below.
Lindsey Sterling is known for her funky violin-plus-dance videos, insanely huge YouTube following, and global album success.
Kristian Nairn – probably best known for his role as Hodor on Game of Thrones – is also a DJ with published dance mixes, so that ought to be fun too. Incidentally, we interviewed him on the podcast years back as he’s a huge World of Warcraft and MMORPG fan, and he was an absolute delight.
Past acts at the show include Blink-182, Metallica, the Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, Linkin Park, Weird Al, and Muse so maybe this isn’t that weird after all.
