World of Warcraft previews Island Expedition changes coming in Tides of Vengeance

Hoist the sails, swab the decks, and all that good stuff, because in the latest preview for World of Warcraft’s upcoming Tides of Vengeance update, Blizzard is showing off the new adventures that await players in Island Expeditions. Tides of Vengeance will bring two new islands for players to explore (Havenswood and Jorundall) as well as two new events that players can encounter on their voyages.

Azerite Ruptures will begin cropping up across the islands, and when players encounter one, they can deploy a device to harvest its contents. Doing so, however, will spawn waves of enemies that players must fend off, and it will also alert the enemy team of the rupture’s location, so players will have to hold the line if they want to reap the precious Azerite and live to tell about it. In a similar vein, players will also be able to find locations where they can deploy Azerite Extractors, which provides a steady flow of Azerite over time, but deployed extractors are marked on everyone’s map, and the enemy team can attempt to take control of them and steal the Azerite for itself.

And in other World of Warcraft news, Blizzard has announced that it’s going to be making some changes to the Uldir raid during the upcoming weekly maintenance on November 27th. Mythrax is receiving a couple of minor nerfs that will reduce the N’raqi Destroyer’s health by 10% and make it so taht Visions of Madness will “no longer strictly prefer to target ranged players with Mind Flay.” Fetid Devourer is also getting toned down a bit on Mythic difficulty, as is G’huun, so players should have a slightly easier time felling these bosses after the changes go live.

They seem to be doubling down on everything the vast majority of the player base doesn’t like about the expansion.

Top clueless moves of the week:

* NFL sets Cowboys vs Redskins game on Thanksgiving day

* Ivanka Trump did not know using private e-mail for government business was wrong

* Blizzard spends more resources on Island Expeditions PvP content to reward more Azurite

Good night, and good luck

* NFL sets Cowboys vs Redskins game on Thanksgiving day

I’d like to think this was intentional rather than clueless : P

Cowboys vs Redskins on Turkey Day is probably the most accurate way to celebrate the holiday, assuming that the Cowboys slaughter the Redskins.

It seems to get even “better” in the next Blizz related article. :(

Pilgrims Vs. Native Americans, you might have a point.
Also the Cowboys and Redskins first played on Thanksgiving in 1968. One of the most often rivalries played on Thanksgiving day.
However your point is well taken :)
