As a general rule, we don’t cover regular cash shop updates in MMORPGs on Massively OP, but every once in a while, a game will add something with such a cool factor that we just cannot not mention it. The Elder Scrolls Online has done just that today with the addition of the Enchanted Snow Globe Home. Yes, it’s a house that is literally inside a snow globe.
We took a quick look in-game in the video below (everybody can do that through the cash shop before buying anything), and inside, it’s just a basic medium-sized house with a whole lot of space for decorating, lots of porch, and a surprising number of doors. Maybe not surprising, though, since to really see the glassy texture of the snow globe surrounding you, you’ll have to duck outside anyway.
Interestingly, and perhaps because of its size, it counts as a “classic” home rather than the “notable” homes that can run a group well over 100 bucks. Even so, this one doesn’t come cheaply: It’ll be 4200 crowns unfurnished or 5250 furnished. How much it is in reality depends on which pack of currency you buy, but 5500 crowns right now is just about 40 bucks. Course, if you’ve been subbing for a while, you might have those kinds of crowns just sitting around for a rainy day. Or a snowy day, in this case.
Tis the season for snow and cozy housing! ❄
