Holiday Blizzard World is live in Overwatch! Oops, nevermind!
Well, it was live earlier this week briefly as the Winter Wonderland rolled out to the online team shooter, along with the Yeti Hunter brawl (five Meis is still not enough Mei if you ask me), the Snowball Offensive, and holiday versions of Hanamura, King’s Row, Black Forest, and of course, Blizzard World itself. However, the Blizzard World spawn room was busted and wouldn’t let people out to actually play.
“We’ve identified an issue with Blizzard World preventing players from leaving spawn areas at the start of the match and completing the match,” Blizz support told the forums. “Due to the impact of this issue, we have temporarily disabled Blizzard World in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One while we troubleshoot. We don’t have an ETA to share right now for when Blizzard World will again be playable, but this is currently our top priority.”
