Yo.

Everything has hidden depths. Anthem definitely does. Literally, it’s got a mission named Hidden Depths, and today’s latest burst of gameplay footage from IGN covers 10 minutes of running through Hidden Depths. The result is that they are not particularly hidden but are instead pretty clearly seen. They’re right there, and they involve shooting things. A lot. That sounds a bit more like a hidden shallow than anything, but that’s splitting hairs.

The video in question covers the whole mission but does include certain edits for pacing purposes, so it’s possible that your own playthrough will not simply be a 10-minute affair. It’s also being run with a three-player team of a Storm, Interceptor, and Colossus. It’s a good chance to see the various Javelins working together, keep an eye on how the combat functions in a team, and generally enjoy what’s on display for fans ahead of the game’s demo events and incoming launch.
