Pirate MMO Atlas makes things lighter with its most recent patch

Yarr, cut out all carbs, got much lighter.

The latest Atlas patch deployed on Saturday turned everything lighter. Yes, everything. Gold weighs less. Everything weighs less. Animals weigh less. Bears have less health, too, which mean that they’re now lighter in that respect as well. If this trend continues, in a few patches nothing will weigh anything and all of your ships will drift off into the air, unable to maintain contact with the ocean.

This would be a problem aside from the fact that it sounds awesome.

Weight reductions aside, the patch also reduces reload time on several weapons and gives every player about 20% more skill points upon leveling up. There are also respec soups available for purchase by players who dislike their current skill loadout. Check through the most recent changes to get a rundown of what’s shifted, with more improvements on the way in the near future. (Especially since some of the updates are scheduled for “late February,” which is… almost here.)
