Every year, Elder Scrolls Online celebrates its birthday with a Jubilee Cake and events. This year those events will include giving players outfits that match Abnur Tharn, Lyris Titanborn, Sai Sahan, and the Prophet. And to prevent the lede from being buried like it was in the ZeniMax Online Studio announcement: By collecting event tickets, you purchase items to give you a Luminous Indrik mount and Shimmering Indrik minipet.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. EDT on April 4th to 10:00 a.m. EDT May 9th, you can join this year’s celebration by picking up the Jubiliee Cake Voucher quest starter from the Crown Store (don’t worry, it doesn’t cost anything). And just as in years before, you gather ingredients to help Chef Donolon make a Jubilee Cake to get this year’s memento.
After using the memento, you’ll receive a 100% XP buff and two event tickets. You can earn tickets once each day during the event. You can carry only 12 tickets at a time per account. Those event tickets can be used to buy event items like the Shimmer Indrik minipet for 10 tickets. Nascent Indrik feathers can be used to get the Nascent Indrik mount. If you already have a Nescent Indrik mount or end up purchasing one, you can convert that to a Luminous Indrik mount by feeding it the four berries available on the event vendor. Obviously, that will take a bit to earn given all the timers, including all four berries not being available until the fourth week.
The celebration event does offer more than just eating cake and feeding berries to your Indrik. Each week will offer different daily activities that will give you gift boxes, and inside those boxes are different rare crafting ingredients, recipes, and outfit style pages for nearly every motif. They also might include motifs for the four companions. The first week might have the prophet’s outfit, the second might have Lyris’ outfit, the third week might contain Abnur’s, and the fourth might contain Sai’s outfit.
The activities to earn the gift boxes change every week. The first week just do your daily writs. The second week, you will have complete daily quests to defeat delves and world bosses. The third week is all about Alliance War and battlegrounds dailies. The fourth week is a team effort with dungeons and trials being the way to earn boxes. The fifth week is a catch-all doing any Tamriel daily quests. You will also be able to earn any outfit that week, too.
This is the biggest anniversary event Elder Scrolls Online has produced to date, and with so many different items ZeniMax is giving away, it would be a shame to miss out if you already own the game. Again, the event runs from April 4th to May 9th, and be sure to catch our ESO livestream with MJ in just a couple of days also on April 4th.
