It’s summer, kids! Are you ready to sink a whole lot of time into Fortnite? Please say no. But the game is certainly ready for lots of time to be sunk into it with the new 14 Days of Summer event, which provides players with a brand-new limited-time mode to play in Battle Royale every day for two straight weeks. The actual modes available will be random, but they will include new conditions like everyone starting in a vehicle, max shield increases every time you pick up a shield powerup, and weapons that get worse every time you kill another player.
Save the World players are astonishingly not left out either; the event on that side allows you to complete daily missions to unlock new summer missions while picking up some free gifts from the cash shop. So no matter how you like to enjoy the game, there’s something in there for you to enjoy; you’ll just need to enjoy it soon, since each one of the limited-time modes will only be around for a day.
