The game of Astroneer is all about reaching out to new environments and exploring new worlds, so the game’s announced arrival to the world of PlayStaton 4 is pretty appropriate. The self-described accessible survival sandbox is making its debut to the console on Friday, November 15th, but not before the game offers up a new Explorer update for Xbox and PC on Wednesday, September 4th.

The PS4 release of Astroneer will feature all of the updates made to its other platform versions, along with a PS4 exclusive suit and visor. Those who pre-order the game will also get access to a unique PS4 theme that features music from the game’s soundtrack.

Speaking of updates, the Explorer update due on September 4th will bring the eagerly anticipated jetpack and jump jet, along with several other new items and platforms, and a new in-game camera that will let players take even better screenshots. Which, let’s be honest, is probably the most important feature to be added to the game yet.
