Hallow’s End returns for another round of familiar Halloween fun in World of Warcraft

“Prepare yourselves, the bells have tolled! Shelter your weak, your young and your old! Each of you shall pay the final sum. Cry for mercy, the reckoning has come!” Yes, the Headless Horseman rides again in World of Warcraft’s Hallow’s End event, bringing back pretty much the exact same event as last time. Why fix it if it isn’t broken, I guess?

Once more, players will get to fight the Headless Horseman by queueing up in the dungeon finder for the Scarlet Monastery, where he awaits foes in the graveyard. Slaying him as well as visiting candy buckets littered around the game will reward Tricky Treats, which can be turned in for familiar rewards as well as a new Headless Horseman’s Hearthstone toy. The only major adjustment, according to Icy Veins, is that the Headless Horseman’s loot has been updated to item level 395.

Maybe the World of Warcraft devs are a little distracted.

A rundown of what awaits in Hallow’s End can be found at the official website, just in case this is your first time in the event or you simply need a refresher.
