If you come to San Francisco...

At the London Microsoft presser today, Square Enix announced a crapton of its games are headed to Xbox Game Pass. None of them is an MMORPG, so unless you’re a die-hard fan, you might have just closed the PR and gone on with your day.

However, according to The Verge, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer gave some hope to Final Fantasy XIV fans when he told press that the hugely popular MMO is in discussions to launch on the platform.

“Rest assured that we will be bringing that game to Xbox,” he reportedly said. “We have a great relationship with [Naoki] Yoshida-san and we’re working through what it means to bring [to Xbox] a cross-platform MMO that they’ve run for years.”
