The Elder Scrolls Online is announcing its next major chapter in January

Well, thanks anyhow.

The time-honored announcement of a future announcement is here now for The Elder Scrolls Online, as the developers have announced that the game’s next major chapter will be announced on January 16th, 2020, in the HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas at the Luxor. Players can register now to arrive in person to see what the next big story development will be, although seats are supposed to be extremely limited for community attendees.

There are no hints about what the chapter will be, of course, nor anything about surrounding events following the big announcement; the developers also acknowledge that more details will be shared closer to the date itself, and it seems likely that the event will be streamed online for those who can’t make it down to Vegas on a random Thursday. Still, if you were worried there wouldn’t be more big updates on the way for 2020? Consider that worry officially assuaged.

I like this game but the questing is far too easy for me even if I just do it with cosmetics on its still not quite as challenging as I would like . You have to hand it to them the do keep the content coming .

I hope it has more solutions to the issues that plague this game than new broken content.

I’d love to see the game offer something a little original. Surprise me. If I needed dragons and necromancers, I had literally every other MMO that doesn’t feature space travel to choose from.

I may be biased (cat crazy), but it’s going to be fairly difficult to beat how interesting Elsweyr has been.

I thought they already had Winterhold, isn’t that the Skyrim city you go to after completing that Argonian zone?

I’d expect Skyrim for 2021 and the 10th Anniversary of TESV, like they did Morrowind for TESIII’s 15th. I’m guessing it will be a tie-in to whatever setting is used for TESVI or a place we haven’t been for a while (Black Marsh?)

My guess is Skyrim, with a Solsthiem DLC.
