Will the second verse be different than the first? We’ll all find out at some point in the beginning of 2021 as Round8 Studio and Neowiz have officially announced plans to launch on Steam next year.
“Our players can look forward to the developers of Bless Unleashed […] to focus on smooth and in-depth communication with our users in order to bring you the highest quality game experience and services based on our player’s needs,” promises a dev letter. The same letter also promises that more details will be announced via the game’s social media channels and the PC version’s website.
For anyone that doesn’t recall, this isn’t the first time that Bless has tried to work on PC. The first attempt at a Steam version was sunsetted in September after a wildly underwhelming launch in 2018. The title has also had trouble in its native Korea and also tanked in Japan, with the Neowiz Bless Studio merging back to its parent company in order to focus on Bless Unleashed for Xbox One. It should be additionally noted that this Steam launch will be the rewritten Xbox One game that uses the same lore and visuals of the Bless IP. So hey, second time’s the charm, right?
