Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen discusses community management in a livestream

June’s usual developer roundtable livestream from Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is a little bit different than usual: it’s a solo discussion with community manager Ben “Kilsin” Walters about — what else — community management.

The stream features a number of questions about topics that are brought up in the forums, keeping discussions on point, and even some thoughts about the game’s official site and what Walters likes about it. There was also a troll-ish question about how PvP servers will be “superior” to PvE that slipped in, but Walters had the good nature to address and answer that question as well.

The stream is pretty generalist in terms of its questions, but if fans are eager to pick the brain of Pantheon’s CM, they can check out the embed after the break.

Sorry, the name of this title still amuses me. I’m waiting for the sequels / DLC – Light of the Darkness, Healing of the Scourged, and Purity of the Corrupted. :P

Now, now, don’t be mean to them. It’s the best they could come up for such a boring, generic and mediocre game that will never release or see the light of day.

Im remembering when people said the same about EQ as wow was released, and yet here it is going on 21 years and more expacs released than any other.

Ok…i think EQ’s legacy is worthy of praise, but let’s not pretend it’s on a good spot. It’s not.

SMH. Even if EQ were to shut down today the people that predicted imminent demise 16 years ago were wrong and would still be wrong. That said, its not in danger of shutting down. New expac already being coded.
