It’s a big day for Black Desert as the Hashashin pre-creation event has kicked off ahead of the class’ formal launch on PC next week. “Get ready for Hashashin who dominates the desert with his crescent-shaped shamshir and haladie which carries the power of the sand spells,” Pearl Abyss says. As usual, there are rewards for players who participate early, and yes, you can roll these guys for the autumn season servers too.

“Once Awakened, Hashashin uses his double-edged sword to deliver a flurry of attacks, making quick work of his enemies. Check out Hashashin’s Awakening skills below: Ensnaring Sands – Use Hashashin’s powers to shift the sand beneath an enemy’s feet, trapping them in place. Constriction – Hashashin can summon sand snakes that will constrict and bind your foe, rendering them immobile. The Paradise Surge – quickly close the recent gap between Hashashin and a given enemy to deliver a lethal blow. In addition to Hashashin’s Awakening, the console version of Black Desert will receive the long-awaited Dream Horse, Arduanatt. Along with other skills horses can learn on Black Desert, Arduanatt also has a few exclusive skills, such as Wings of the Wind and Wings of Freedom.”

In other BDO news, this morning Pearl Abyss announced that it’s partnered with Koch Media to launch a physical retail edition of the game for Xbox One and PS4 in North America, Europe, and Oceania. It’ll run $29.99.

“The Black Desert Prestige Edition will include tons of exclusive in-game content such as a premium costume set (Shudad Glorie Premium Set, an additional exclusive pet and much more, totalling a $139 (£105) in combined value of bonus content. The Prestige Edition will be available for Playstation®4 and Xbox One later this year. Koch Media is co-publisher of the Prestige Edition and responsible for all retail publishing activities.”
