The previously reported on mashup between SMITE and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is now officially online, letting players of the MOBA dress up Osiris, Loki, Mercury, and Sun Wukong as Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello respectively. In addition, there are Splinter Hachiman, Shredder Ravana, and a variety of other skins unrelated to the Turtles for several other characters hiding in Odyssey mode, Radical Chests, or digital loot packs.

In addition to the battle pass’ Turtle powered offerings, the latest update has made some adjustments to the early surrender mechanic, granting players who trigger a disconnect a deserter penalty in an effort to curb abuse of the system. “While the regrettable truth is that the harsher we make the DC penalty to prevent this abuse, the harsher the effects on those players who were actually DC’d, it’s clear that this abuse case has caused too much frustration to leave unchanged,” explains the patch notes. “Hopefully this will put a stop to that intentional misuse, but we will continue to keep an eye on it.”

The patch notes also outline other adjustments like adjustments to healing percentage effects, clearer descriptions for characters and abilities, a variety of balance changes to certain items and gods, and some bug fixes.
