Dungeons and Dragons Online players who hoped to jump into the game’s new Fables of the Feywild today are going to have to develop a measure of patience, as Standing Stone Games announced that it’s had to delay the expansion. Happily, it will only need to be a small measure of patience, as the pack should release later this week.

“Our release date for Fables of the Feywild has been adjusted slightly, and is now set for release on Thursday, November 5th, instead of tomorrow,” the studio posted. “We’ll have more information about our downtime, release notes, and more on Wednesday.”

SSG said that as a result of this delay, it is going to extend the Night Revels festival for an additional day.

Fables of the Feywild promises to be a more fanciful expansion that includes 13 more missions and the Shifter race: “Meet the Archfey, mighty beings who may help or hinder you on your adventures. Encounter majestic Unicorns, mischievous Pixies, deadly Displacer Beasts, and fierce Fomorians in this all new expansion!”
