Try again.

It’s almost that time of the year when Star Citizen effectively goes free-to-play for a limited time and revels in its bespoke brand of internet spaceship idolization. It can only be the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo, which is coming back to the game on Friday, November 19th, and running through Wednesday, December 1st.

This year’s event will once again take place on planet MicroTech and will feature over 100 flyable ships that players can rent for free for a small amount of time and tool around in, with each day showcasing a different in-game ship manufacturer as usual. The event will also have new vehicle announcements along with special ship paints and in-game items. And, of course, the event will bring back the in-game Jeremy Clarkson clone Jax McCleary and the Whitley’s Guide miniseries for those who like ship-based video shenanigans.

Speaking of videos, CIG has put out the individual video of principal environment artist Josh Van Zuylen creating space stations in Pyro, which readers will recall was among the video showcases that were part of this year’s CitizenCon event, just in case you happened to have missed any of that.
